MD503 is a natural renewable compound derived from cashew nut shell liquid, called Cardanol. It can be applied in phenolic resins, epoxy resins and many other fields due to its unique molecular structure.

MD503 can substitute many phenols to synthesize new materials such as surfactants, high performance phenolic resins etc. It is mainly used in the following fields: brake pads, adhesives, foundry resins and paper-base laminates etc.

This product can also substitute tung oil (China wood oil) and has been widely applied in fields of coatings, printing inks, paper-base laminates etc.
